Al Kifaf is a modern residential community with an eco-friendly environment. Developer Wasl Asset Management Group has begun the construction of the Wasl 1 complex in Al Kifaf. The project consists of a mixed-use complex that includes five zones.
Zone 1 is called Park Gate Residences, which consists of four residential towers that overlook the picturesque Zabeel Park. Each of the four buildings has individual features and varies in height. Properties include one- to three-bedroom apartments and three- to five-bedroom townhouses and penthouses. The podium will include a children’s play area, a fitness centre, and restaurants. Park Gate Residences have a total of 746 apartments and was completed in January 2021.
Zone 2 and 3 will consist of two residential structures that are each connected from above. Zone 4 will feature a hotel and a central square, and zone 5 will have a group of four multipurpose houses. The names of these locations have not yet been revealed.
Al Kifaf is famous for its popular attractions, such as Zabeel Park, Dubai Frame, and Etisalat Tower.
Zabeel Park is one of Dubai’s largest parks and offers many attractions. One of its two sections is located in Al Kifaf. Visitors can enjoy children’s playgrounds, jogging paths, a dinosaur park, and various other facilities, and there is a train that goes around the area. On the first Saturday of each month, the park hosts the Dubai Flea Market where visitors can buy and sell books, antiques, furniture, or clothes.
Dubai Frame is an iconic attraction that is popular among locals and visitors. The building was designed to resemble a huge photo frame made of reinforced concrete, steel, and glass. Its unique construction allows visitors the chance to explore the city’s past while also getting immersed in the prospects of the future. The multimedia exhibition on the mezzanine takes visitors back in time to Old Dubai during the very beginning stages of the metropolis. Then, moving to the Sky Deck, visitors can stroll across the glass bridge and be taken back to the mezzanine where a colourful multimedia presentation on the future of the city awaits.
Etisalat Tower is a 33-storey modern office building that was designed by Shankland Cox. It has been in operation since 2007. This futuristic structure harmoniously combines different materials, such as steel, glass, and concrete. The tower is characterised by its spherical roof superstructure that resembles a golf ball. At night, the building stands out against the backdrop of the city thanks to its unique lighting system.
