About Marina Square area

Marina Square is part of Al Reem Island and is a project of Tamouh Construction Company. The area comprises 14 high-rise buildings – 13 residential and one commercial. The area has landscaped gardens and parks, and includes cafes, restaurants, beauty salons, supermarkets and a shopping mall.

Transport

There are two bus stops in the area – Khor ʹAzeez St/Marina Square and Hazza ʹ Bin Zayed St/Marina Square.

The mainland of Abu Dhabi can be reached from Al Reem Island via Hazza ‘ Bin Zayed The First St. A 15-20 minute drive from the island will take you to Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan St, linking the major districts of the capital. The popular promenade on Corniche St is a 45-minute drive from Abu Dhabi Beach. Abu Dhabi International Airport can be reached in over an hour.

Entertainment

There is a basketball court next to the RAK Tower. Near Marina Square is Paragon Bay Mall where adults can shop and children can play in the Mariposa Play Area.

Shams Boutik Shopping Centre with restaurants and cafes can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Eastern Mangrove National Park, which is home to 60 species of birds, can be reached in a 15-minute drive. Kayaking and other water sports can be enjoyed here. For golf enthusiasts, there is Abu Dhabi City Golf Club which is a 15-minute drive away and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club which is a 20-minute drive away.

Yas Island, renowned for its entertainment venues, is a half-hour drive away. Visitors can take the family to Ferrari World and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, visit SeaWorld Abu Dhabi or Yas Waterworld.
