The Gate is located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), an area that is famous for its commercial buildings and luxury hotels. It is known as a global centre for financial companies. Completed in 2004, the Gate is a 60-metre tall building that was designed by Gensler MDS Architects, a leading architectural firm. The building was made using large Italian granite panels and has high-quality glazing. Its style is similar to the architecture of the Grande Arche de la Défense in Paris. Additionally, the Gate features a promenade ending with an arch, which is a bit like the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe.
