Al Satwa is a small residential community in Dubai. It is located near Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) on 2nd December Street, and it borders Jumeirah and Bur Dubai.
Al Satwa is a family-friendly area with an international community of residents and a lively atmosphere. There are plenty of retail outlets in the area, including groceries stores, clothing boutiques, tailoring shops, jewellery stores, building supply stores, furniture stores, pet shops, and pharmacies. Al Hudaiba Street, which is also known as Flower Street, offers flower shops and artificial plant stores. The most popular local supermarkets are Al Maya, Yamama, and Spring.
Residents can take advantage of nearby fitness centres, such as Star Gym Satwa, Sahin Gym, and Muscle Power Gym. The area also offers a selection of spas and beauty salons. Mandara Spa, Bella Style, and Bodyline Salon are available for women, and Diva, City Style, and Golden Star Salon are available for men.

Numerous bus terminals provide connections to other parts of Dubai, and the most popular routes include the RTA and X13. The area also offers a Metro station.

The most popular residential properties are located near Al Satwa Road, which is a lively part of the area featuring restaurants and retail stores. Al Satwa offers a mix of residential real estate projects, such as studios, apartments, and villas, as well as commercial real estate projects, such as offices and retail spaces. It is also possible to buy a plot of land for a customised construction project. Studios and apartments have an average size of 850 sq. ft. (79 sq. m) to 1,375 sq. ft. The Makeen Residence complex is popular among investors. Developed by Makeen Properties, the building consists of apartments with one- and two-bedroom floor plans.
