Amargo is part of the Akoya Oxygen residential community and is located in the picturesque area of DAMAC Hills 2. The project was developed by DAMAC Properties, a leading development company in the UAE. Amargo was developed in 2016 and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2022.

Location

At the moment, the DAMAC Hills 2 (Akoya Oxygen) does not offer public transportation. However, there are plans for it once the community is completed. The closest bus stops are in the neighbouring community of Mira.

Residents have easy access to other parts of the city via two nearby highways: Jebel Ali – Lehbab Road and Dubai Al Ain Road.

The community offers walking and cycling paths, and there are plenty of parking spaces for bicycles and cars

Residents with children can take advantage of several schools situated within a 40-minute drive of Amargo. A heliport, Dubai International Airport, Anaya Clinic, and Al Lussily Wellness Center can be reached within a 30-minute drive, and Rukn Al Sahra Supermarket and Smhan Supermarket are located within a 25-minute drive.

Amargo is near the Trump International Golf Club, which features an 18-hole golf course that had design input from professional golfer Tiger Woods. The club also offers gardens, parks, fountains, lakes, and various family-friendly spaces.

The neighbourhood has plans for a “living” tropical forest featuring exotic plants and rare animal species. The forest will be situated under a glass dome designed to maximise natural light to create favourable conditions for the plants and animals.

The Akoya Oxygen residential community also has plans for several new restaurants and café​​s.
