About Dubai Creek Harbour

Dubai Creek Harbor is one of Emaar Properties’ most ambitious projects with Dubai Holding. It is a mixed-use neighborhood with residential, retail, commercial and entertainment venues.

The area encompasses 550 hectares, with 66,000 sq.m. of public and entertainment facilities and 7,300,000 sq.m. of residential buildings. According to the developer’s vision, Creek Harbor is to become a densely populated self-contained neighborhood, the residential communities built here will accommodate up to 650,000 residents.

Dubai Creek Harbor is home to several new attractions in the emirate:

  • Dubai Square, an 820,000-square-foot shopping district. It will feature more than 800 retail outlets, entertainment areas, restaurants, cafes, as well as the world’s largest Chinese quarter;
  • Dubai Creek Tower – the new tallest tower in the world. Its height is 928 m. The cost of building Creek Tower is estimated at USD 1,000,000,000.

A 20-minute drive away is another landmark – the Ras Al Khor Nature Reserve, which is home to over 450 species of animals and birds, including the famous pink flamingos.

Property Features

The Dubai Creek Harbor neighborhood is well adapted for family living. There are schools and kindergartens, stores, plenty of playgrounds and walking areas.

Buying one of the local townhouses can be a promising investment. Many foreigners moving to Dubai do not own their apartments and have to rent them. The average yield on real estate in Creek Harbor is 4.1-5.2%.

For example, the yearly rent of a townhouse with 2 bedrooms starts at from AED 85,000 (USD 23,142). In terms of purchase price, a 2,910 sq ft 2-bedroom townhouse at The Grand will cost you AED 3,419,000 (USD 931,000) and a 3,474 sq ft 4-bedroom property at Harbor Views 2 is AED 5,400,000 (USD 1,470,000).
