Shamal Julphar (Shimal) is a developing residential area located in Ras Al Khaimah. The community was implemented by several developers and is widely known for its historical architecture and valuable archaeological finds that date back to 1300 B.C.

Shamal Julphar is home to many ancient structures. Dhayah Fort can be reached within a 20-minute drive of the community. It is the oldest fort in the emirate and became the centre of a battle with British forces in 1819. Currently, the fort has been restored and is open to tourists.
Ras Al-Khaimah National Museum is also situated within a 20-minute drive. It is located in a fortress and has a large collection of ethnological and archaeological finds.
Residents can visit Jazirat al-Hamra, an ancient fishing town, which has three distinct types of architecture. It is located on the Arabian Gulf Coast and was in operation before the oil boom.
