Pre-Move-In Checklist: Documents and Payments

Before you move into your new property, complete the following steps:

Signing Your Lease Agreement

  • Ensure both tenant and landlord (or Power of Attorney) sign the contract.
  • Each party should retain a signed copy for their records.

 

Initial Rental Payments Required

  • Security deposit (refundable at end of tenancy).
  • First rent installment (plus post-dated cheques, if applicable).
  • Agency fees.

 

Required Tenant Documents

  • Passport copy (photo & signature page).
  • Residency/visa copy.
  • Emirates ID copy (front and back).
