Happy Eid al-Fitr from Metropolitan Premium Properties!

After a month of fasting during Ramadan, Muslims will celebrate the Islamic festival of Eid al-Fitr next week. For private sector employees, this means they will have the longest non-working holiday of the year, determined by the cycle of the moon. Eid al-Fitr is a period marked by social gatherings where acquaintances exchange greetings and gifts, new clothes are worn and the gravesites of loved ones are visited.

The UAE’s moon sighting committee will meet on the evening of Monday, April 8th, to look for the crescent in the night sky. If the moon is sighted, Ramadan will conclude on the 29th day, with Eid al-Fitr falling on Tuesday, April 9th. If not, the holy month will last 30 days, and the Islamic festival will begin on April 10th.

You can enjoy the celebrations by watching extraordinary firework shows across Dubai. Some of the recommended places to see them are Bluewaters Island, Dubai Festival City, Al Seef, Hatta and Global Village.

Metropolitan Premium Properties wishes you and your family happy Eid, filled with joy, happiness and many memorable moments! May you be blessed with peace, prosperity and success!
