Dubai hosts TOKEN2049 for the first time
TOKEN2049 is an annual global conference series that provides a platform for high-level Web3 company leaders to share insight into the ever-growing crypto industry. The event commenced today at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai, the first time it is being held in the emirate.
The conference sold out well in advance, and is expected to attract around 10,000 attendees over the course of two days. The event brings together the founders, executives and decision-makers of over 4,000 companies from 100 countries, who will give talks and share their views on the crypto industry.

The lineup at TOKEN2049 is packed with a diverse range of topics such as decentralised AI, Web3 gaming, DeFi and blockchain scalability. In addition to talks and lectures, the event also features exhibitions, live DJ sets and top-notch hospitality, reflecting the luxurious atmosphere of Dubai.
Among speakers of the event are Pavel Durov, the forward-thinking CEO of Telegram; Bryan Johnson, a pioneer in longevity and human enhancement; Balaji Srinivasan, the founder, investor and author of The Network State; Richard Teng, the CEO of Binance; and over 200 other prominent figures in the industry.
TOKEN2049 officially commenced on April 15th with a series of meetups, workshops and events that lasted for a week. The second TOKEN2049 conference of the year is scheduled to take place in Singapore in September.
