Al Rifa’ah is a beachfront family-friendly sub-district located in Sharjah’s suburban area of Al Heerah. The community is set away from the tourist hotspots of the emirate and offers residents a tranquil and relaxed living environment with open views of the Arabian Gulf. Al Rifa’ah stretches between Al Sharq Street and Al Muntazah Street, and it borders Al Rumailah in Ajman. Residents have easy access to the neighbouring areas of Al Mirgab and Al Fisht.
Properties include three- to five-bedroom villas. Some units feature traditional Arabic façades, whilst offers have a mix of modern and contemporary designs. Villas vary in size and layout. A few common features include spacious balconies, parking, and landscaped areas.
Al Rifa’ah offers all of the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. For medical care, residents can go to the Emirates International Medical Centre and the Emirates International Hospital, which are located in Al Rifa’ah. Ground public transport services are available near the perimeter of the area.
Al Hirah Beach is located in Al Rifa’ah and is home to the five-star Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa and the four-star Coral Beach Resort Sharjah. The hotel complexes offer a wide range of upscale facilities, including sports facilities, luxury spas, and restaurants.
The neighbouring community of Al Mirgab can be reached within a five-minute drive and is home to Matajer Al Mirgab Shopping Centre, Carrefour Supermarket, All Heera Secondary School, and Noor Al bayan Quran Kareem Keeping Centre.
Al Rifa’ah is located within a five- to 15-minute drive of many popular destinations, including:
Al Montazah Parks, Al Majaz Waterfront, and Al Qasba Promenade can be reached within a 15- to 20-minute drive. Al Ittihad Street provides a direct route to the border of Dubai within a 20-minute drive. University City and Sharjah International Airport are also situated within a 20-minute drive.
Property in Al Rifa’ah can be purchased for personal use and for long-term rentals. Units are suitable for young couples and families with children. The area is near the coast. However, it is set away from heavy traffic and popular tourist areas, which creates an ideal living environment.
Four- to five-bedroom villas have an annual rental rate that ranges from AED 60,000 (USD 16,000) to AED 170,000 (USD 46,000).

Al Rifa’ah does not have any separate apartment complexes or communities. Villas have individual styles and layouts. A six-bedroom move-in ready villa, with a size of 10,000 sq. ft., can be purchased for AED 3,900,000 (USD 1,100,000). The minimum price for a three-bedroom villa is AED 1,500,000 (USD 408,000).
There are several off-plan properties, which means they are under construction or in the planning phase. For instance, four- and five-bedroom villas range in size from 4,000 sq. ft. to 5,000 sq. ft. and range in price from AED 1,300,000 (USD 354,000) to AED 1,800,000 (USD 490,000). Al Hirah Beach is located within walking distance of Al Rifa’ah. It has a swim-up beach called Happy Land. Visitors can enjoy jogging paths, cafes, restaurants, and a beach market. Sharjah Ladies Club can be reached within a 10-minute drive and offers a bay for swimming, as well as a spa, gym, and massage centre.
Sharjah Art Museum and Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization are situated within a 10-minute walk. Sharjah Art Museum features three levels of artwork, including more than 500 works of Arabic art. Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization has exhibitions that feature religious and scholarly themes.
Al Wasit Wetland Centre, a wildlife sanctuary, is located within a 15-minute drive and is home to a wide variety of bird species.
Rashidiya Park can be reached within a 10-minute drive and provides an ideal place for spending quality time with friends and family. Situated in Ajman, the park is home to Iceage Truck, a coffee shop, and Happy Fun, a children’s playground. From there, visitors have easy access to Ajman Museum, which is an 18th-century fortress that contains archaeological finds, weapons, and historical items used for pearl trading. Visitors can also enjoy a small market with shops and cafes.
