Al Qasba is a commercial area of Sharjah that is also popular among tourists. Buildings are located on both sides of the Qasba Canal, which creates a waterfront community. The neighbourhood is quite small and does not have any educational institutions. However, Al Khan Primary School For Girls is situated within a 10-minute drive of the residential complexes. Victoria International School, Sharjah Indian School, and Our Own English High School are also located within a short drive. Babylon Institute Language School – University City can be reached within a 20-minute drive and offers more than 2,000 language courses.
The community does not have any medical facilities. However, residents have easy access to Kedar Dental Centre, Atlas Medical Centre, Mulk Physiotherapy, and Homecare Centre, which are situated within a 10- to 15-minute drive of the area.
The neighbourhood has convenient transportation options. Al Khan Street and Al Khan Corniche Street run along its borders. Sharjah International Airport is located within a 20-minute drive of the community, and Dubai International Airport can be reached within a 30-minute drive.
Al Qasba is one of Sharjah’s fastest-growing communities thanks to the cooperation of the local authorities. New projects and social events are periodically announced by the Sharjah Development and Investment Authority. The area is promoted as a tourist destination, and there is an emphasis on art exhibitions and cultural activities.
