Al Ghadeer is a neighbourhood located on the border of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This area is a project of Aldar Properties. There is no public transport in the area. However, developer Aldar Properties and US-based Hyperloop Transportation Technologies have announced that Al Ghadeer will be the first neighbourhood in Abu Dhabi to offer supersonic transportation. The unique technology will allow the residents of Al Ghadeer to travel to other areas of Abu Dhabi and Dubai at 746 mph (1,200km/h). Until then, residents in the area will have to use private transport or taxis.

Entertainment

Sapphire Mall is a 10-minute drive from the area. It is a large shopping mall with many branded shops, supermarkets, restaurants, spas and entertainment venues. The large Ibn Battuta Mall is a half-hour drive away. New Creek Restaurant, Sand Marco Restaurant and Maruf Desert Cafeteria are all within a 10-20 minute drive.

Last Exit Theme Park is a 10-minute drive away. Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, EXPO 2020 venues, Motiongate Dubai and Action Park are all within a 15 to 20 minute drive. Al Maktoum International Airport is 20 minutes away, while Abu Dhabi International Airport and Burj Khalifa in Dubai are 45 minutes away.

Beach lovers can head to Saadiyat Beach Club on Saadiyat Island. This beach club is a 50-minute drive away. There is a barbecue area, children’s playgrounds and various water activities.
