About the area

The Sheikh Zayed Road is the main road artery in the emirate of Dubai, and is also the longest, with a length of 55 kilometers. The highway did not have an official name until 1990, as back then people called it the “Dubai – Abu Dhabi Road”. After reconstruction in the 1990’s, the road was significantly widened, and roundabouts were replaced with road exits and junctions. The highway was then named after the first President of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

However, there are parking facilities in residential buildings, office buildings and malls, as well as paid street parking.
