The Esaad card is now available to 5 and 10-year Golden Visa holders

In line with the new set of executive regulations of the Federal Decree-Law on Entry and Residence of Foreigners approved by the UAE Cabinet, holders of a 5 and 10-year Golden Visa will be granted an Esaad card. Thanks to this scheme, Golden Visa residents can enjoy offers and discounts across 7,237 brands and businesses in the UAE, as well as 92 countries all over the world, including the UK.

The Esaad card was initially launched back in 2017 by Dubai Police, with the force’s employees able to benefit from a wide range of promotions. Alongside government workers, the card is available to citizens in receipt of social benefits, military and civilian retirees from public and private sectors jobs, as well as disabled and senior citizens in the emirate.

It is possible to register via the Esaad website or download the application on Google Play or the App Store. You will be required to provide your personal details, such as your contact information and your Emirates ID.

Depending on the residency type, there are 2 types of the Esaad card available: green and gold. Its holders will be able to take advantage of savings at hotels, clothing brands, salons, schools, hospitals and pharmacies, and more. To be more specific, 15-30% discounts are available at different food chains, cinemas, Kempinski Palm Jumeirah, Al Zahra Hospital, Sharaf DG, Al Ghani auto services, Flydubai flights and IMG Worlds of Adventure, among many other outlets. Customers can show their Esaad card at respective outlets or use it to make purchases online.

The card also enables savings at over 50 schools, including 40% off tuition fees at the American School of Creative Science and a 20% discount at Victoria English School in Sharjah. As well as the above, one can benefit from discounts at 41 universities, 50 training centers and 100 kindergartens.
