Dubai Retail has announced Skylight Mall, a new shopping centre planned for Al Khail Road in Dubai. The mall is scheduled to open in 2027, with more than 360 stores and 1.3 million sq ft of gross leasable area (GLA).
Skylight Mall will be located near Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT), Jumeirah Islands, The Springs and other nearby communities. The project is planned as a super-regional mall, with space for retail, dining, wellness and entertainment. The design will include wide, light-filled interiors, expected to provide space for more than 360 stores, although the individual brands have not yet been announced.
Dubai Retail has not yet announced the brands, the attractions or the exact opening date. More details are expected later.
Skylight Mall will become the 58th mall or retail property in Dubai Retail's portfolio, which already includes Palm Jumeirah Mall, Nad Al Sheba Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Dragon Mart and The Outlet Village.
Previously, Dubai Retail announced another project on 10 September 2026: The Yard in Palm Jebel Ali, planned to open in 2027 and expected to serve around 20,000 residents. This adds to other new retail projects across Dubai, like The Grand in Nad Al Sheba Gardens, which is already opening in phases, and the planned Sobha Mall, Ghaf Woods Mall and Dubai Square.
