On 6 August 2026, Dar Global appointed Gulf Asia Contracting to deliver the podium of Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai, marking the project's move into its next phase. The tower is being developed on Sheikh Zayed Road at the entrance to Downtown Dubai in partnership with The Trump Organization.
The contract comes after the completion of site enabling works, which Dar Global awarded to Edrafor Emirates in December 2025. Gulf Asia Contracting will now build the podium, forming the base of the tower and accommodating key entrances, amenities and public areas before the main structure rises above it.
Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai is planned to rise approximately 350 metres across 80 floors. The development will combine a Trump-branded hotel, private residences and The Trump, an exclusive members' club. Residential units will begin from the 18th floor, with the project offering apartments and penthouses.
The tower is also planned to include two signature penthouses and an outdoor swimming pool positioned high above the city. Dar Global has described the pool as the highest outdoor pool in Dubai. The location places the project directly on Sheikh Zayed Road, close to Downtown Dubai and with views towards landmarks including Burj Khalifa and the Arabian Gulf.
The development was launched in April 2025 as the first Trump International Hotel & Tower in the Middle East. It represents the fifth collaboration between Dar Global and The Trump Organization. According to Dar Global CEO Ziad El Chaar, around 80% of the released inventory had been secured by early August, with buyers representing approximately 40 nationalities. The project is currently scheduled for handover in Q4 2031.
